Summer Camp
Learning Disabilities Association of York Region’s SUMMER CAMP is designed for Children with a Primary Diagnosis of Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD
In a safe, encouraging and positive environment, learning social skills has never been so much fun! Skills learned include introducing oneself, ways to make friends, responding to teasing, being a good winner and loser, dealing with emotions, problem solving, relaxations, and self-esteem.
Activities include outdoor swimming, nature walks, arts and crafts and more!
Maximum 8 kids per session, with a caring staff to child ration of 1:4.
**First time participants must provide a copy of child’s Psycho-educational Assessment**
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: 7-12
Cost for the week:
$400 for Members
$450 for Non-Members
**Before and after care available for a fee
How to Register:

- After your form has been submitted you will be contacted to arrange an intake interview for you and your child.
- Based on this intake, we will decide whether or not this program will be beneficial for your child.

There are no guarantees for a spot as participants are placed in groups depending number of registrants, their age and gender.
Note: Due to enrollment requirements, program availability is subject to change. Full payment due at time of registration.
Fees are non-refundable. No make-up days available.
