I.E.P. Workshop

Ann And Karen Wolff

Individual Education Plan
With Wolff Education Services

A workshop for parents and professionals on topics to support children’s learning and development!

Join Us – October 18th, 6:00 PM
for our Introductory Individualized Educational Plan Workshop!

This Workshop helps inform parents of their role in creating their child’s Individual Education Plan:

All parents whose child is receiving an IEP must be consulted in the process to provide information they feel is relevant to their child’s learning. “Principals are legally required to ensure that parents are consulted in the development of the IEP.”
(The Individual Education Plan 2004)

The goal of the workshop is to teach parents how to describe their child as a learner using 21st century learning platforms and expectations. We will explain how classrooms today are rich learning environments that weave seamlessly between academic, social and emotional intelligence. Today, students must be able to demonstrate their learning in two ways. Using both the Ontario Curriculum and the Learning Skills, and they must be able to do this simultaneously.
