Youth Forum Program

Join the LDAYR’s monthly Peer Support Group is for individuals between the age of 19 to 29.

Expand your understanding of Mental Well-Being  and become the agent of change in your life!

Every month there will be different topics presenting on various issues surrounding well-being.

The counselor will offer various strategies, resources and steps to overcome different challenges while allowing the participants to share their own experience and milestones.

Topics will include but not limited to:

  • Learning Disabilities & Attention Disorders and their correlation with mental health.
  • Understanding Depression & Anxiety
  • Stress Management Strategies
  • Developing and sustaining resiliency
  • Awareness on other community Services available in York Region

Group meets monthly from September to June.
