2017 Social Skills Summer Camp

Learning Disabilities Association of York Region’s SUMMER CAMP Designed for Children with a Primary Diagnosis of Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD

Maximum 8 kids per session, with a caring staff to child ration of 1:4.
**First time participants must provide a copy of child’s Psycho-educational Assessment**

Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: 8-12

Cost:
$400 for Members
$450 for Non-Members

Location: St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church

In a safe, encouraging and positive environment, learning social skills has never been so much fun! Skills learned include introducing oneself, ways to make friends, responding to teasing, being a good winner and loser, dealing with emotions, problem solving, relaxations, and self-esteem. Activities include outdoor swimming, nature walk, arts and crafts, sports and more!

*Space is Limited*
Summer Camp is based on first come first serve basis.
Bathing suit, Towel, Spray-On Sun Screen, Lunch, Snack, Hat and Drink are required

*Please Note* There are no guarantees for a spot as participants are placed in groups depending number of registrants, their age and gender.
