Practical Strategies for Teaching Kids Accountability
Presented by Janet Arnold and Fal Desai:

In order to be successful in school and beyond, children need to demonstrate accountability and learn a variety of academic, social and emotional competencies.  One of the biggest factors in fostering these skills is based on a child’s ability to take responsibility for his or her own actions. This workshop will help parents understand the explicit skills and strategies needed to develop personal accountability skills in children.

Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
Presented by Amanda Daniel and Mahsima Nostrai-Inanlou:

Their work focuses on promoting mental health and socio-emotional development
of children with learning disabilities through evidence-informed therapy practices
that accommodate the child, youth and family’s strengths in learning.
