40th Anniversary Celebration
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Learning Disabilities Association of York Region! The association is celebrating this milestone with an event that will spotlight the families and individuals living with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD we service throughout York Region.
The event will take place at the beautiful Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, which is a state of the art facility in the heart of York Region. At the event youth and adults with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD will have the opportunity to celebrate and showcase their abilities through performances and art displays from all over the Region. Invitees include representatives from the various school boards, community leaders, media representatives, as well as local businesses.
The Learning Disabilities Association of York Region would like to announce that Lynn Ziraldo is transitioning from Executive Director to the role of Strategic Advisor. The association will be thanking Lynn for her 38 years as a colleague, leader, mentor, advocate and best of all a friend to the LD community.
The Learning Disabilities Association of York Region would also like to announce and congratulate incoming Executive Director Helga Sirola who will take office October 1st 2016.
